Meet Thamires

The best time always passes speedily and my time studying at ISI could not be different. My name is Thamires, I am from Brazil and I have been in Dublin for 2 years. I am glad to say that I found my place at ISI school. Honestly, it has changed my life.

One of my biggest dreams was to travel and meet new people of different cultures, nationalities and opinions. Although, everybody knows that our student life is not that easy. As all students I had to make ends meet. I used to work in two jobs and it was difficult to stay awake during classes.

However, when I started studying at ISI, I found myself completely motivated to go to school every day, my teacher was amazing, my classroom was comfortable, my classes were smart and funny, my classmates were a mix of nationalities, the muffins were absolutely delicious, how could I not have loved it?. Well, everything changed when the lockdown started, I thought it was the end of my dreams. I was wrong because I improved my English as much as I would have had in a face-to-face class.

I am grateful for these teachers who do their best and keep pushing and motivating their students. ISI has given me friends for life, teachers that I will always admire and it contributed to my personal growth too. I would be the happiest person if I studied at this amazing school again.
