Get your running shoes out, as now you can join a bunch of likeminded people for 5k run in Parks all over Dublin. It’s completely free; you just need to register in advance. It’s not only great from your health and fitness – you might as well find new friends and improve your English as the members of park run often enjoy a post run coffee! Jog or stroll along Clontarf seafront
Offering truly stunning scenic views over Dublin Bay, Clontarf promenade is a brilliant place for walking, powerwalking or jogging. There is a pedestrian walkway that runs for the full 3 km of the Promenade and joggers can use this or the softer terrain of the grassed areas. You will also find exercise bars dotted along the seafront, which makes this spot even more attractive as you can do your HIIT workouts there as well!
Join a Dublin Walking Group
Dublin Walking Group is a walking club which is led by its members, exploring different routes around Dublin. It welcomes members of different fitness levels and is open to adults (18 years of age and older). It’s a perfect opportunity to get that low intensity cardiovascular exercise into your routine as well as discover Dublin!
Become fit in Phoenix Park
This is a name of a group of people who meet Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week at the Phoenix Park for an exercise session. It’s a combination of a 5k run and some light stretching exercises. The entire session lasts about an hour. All fitness levels are welcome as the session is not extreme at all!
