I had a really nice host family and I really enjoyed my stay in their house. It’s where you learn things about the real Irish life
November 8, 2016
November might be one of the coldest months in Ireland, but activities that we have planned are guaranteed to prevent you from the winter blues!
As usual, all of the new students are welcome to join a free Orientation Tour on Monday. We will continue running our hugely popular Irish History & Culture Club, Jobs Club and Express Yourself, so if you didn’t have anything planned for weekdays…well, now you have!
On Wednesdays we will be visiting Guinness Store House to sample some black stuff; pop in to the Phoenix Park to meet the locals (the famous deers) and get a healthy dose of cultural vitamin in the National Museum of Ireland and Science Gallery.
On Fridays we will recover the gems of Hidden Dublin such as Collins Barracks, Arbour Hill cemetery, Four Courts and Dublin City Hall.
We also be inviting our students to Participate in the ‘Big Quiz of The Year’! Gather your smartest friends, put your thinking hats on and prepare for a night of great craic!
For the students who would like to get a better taste of Ireland we have Saturday tours to Connemara and Galway, Kilkenny, Giant’s Causeway and Cliffs of Moher trips on the plate.
November in Dublin is all about preparing for Christmas. It all kicks of with the Christmas lights being turned on in the Grafton Street. Head down there on the 13th of November to experience one of the most magic moments in the run up to Christmas!
