As part of the presentation, you should prepare a topic. You can look at notes from time to time if you need to, but these notes should be simple and organised. This could be something simple at lower to mid levels, like Liverpool Football Club, or The Food From My Country. There are six smaller points about the main topic Playing the guitar. Surrounding these smaller points is the information the student might use in their presentation. As the presentation is only three minutes, this is a lot of information to get through. Organise your presentation so that no matter where you have to end, it sounds complete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Be sure to practise and time yourself giving your presentation so you know how long each part should take.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Giving your presentation<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Stay calm, and focus on your teacher if you\u2019re nervous. While this might affect your scores slightly by not addressing the \u201caudience\u201d, it will get you through it.<br \/>\n2. Breathe. Long sentences are great, but don\u2019t forget to breathe.<br \/>\n3. Slow down. Don\u2019t speak fast to get it done quicker, that\u2019s not how it works. Make yourself heard and understood.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Assessment criteria<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below you will find the assessment criteria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A1 and up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Communicative effectiveness (completing the task)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pronunciation<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Grammar and Vocabulary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A2 and up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organisation and Delivery (other students\u2019 understanding and your fluency)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B1 and up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Discourse management (sequencing, connecting and contrasting ideas, a mix of long and short sentences)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each area is marked out of 5, with different levels and expectations for each level.
