The Ha’penny Bridge

The Ha’penny Bridge is one of the best known bridges in Dublin. It was built in 1816 and was the first iron bridge in Ireland. It was originally named the Liffey Bridge but is now called the Ha’penny because until 1919, there was a half-penny charge to cross it.

Henry Street

If you need to do some shopping this side of the city, Henry Street is the perfect spot! It holds two of the biggest shopping centres in Dublin City – The Ilac Centre, and Jervis Shopping Centre. You’ll also find every budget shopper’s dream here – Penny’s! And as a bonus, there’s a picture perfect view of the spire.

Temple Bar

The Temple Bar district is the cultural quarter of Dublin, filled with live music, both inside and outside the pubs. It is well known for its lively nightlife and is a very popular attraction for tourists. A great spot to try your first Guinness!

City Hall

Dublin City Hall is an excellent example of the Georgian architecture synonymous with Dublin city. This building is the focal point for the elected members of Dublin City Council. If interested, there is a history exhibition on the ground floor of Dublin from the arrival of the Vikings to the present day. Worth a visit!

Capel street

Over the last few years, Capel Street has grown as one of the most exciting food quarter in the capital. The street is home to a diverse selection of restaurants serving food from across the globe. It is also lined with various great pubs worth visiting, depending on what you’re looking for. Try The Black Sheep for its craft beers or famous gay bar, Pantibar, for its fun, yet relaxed atmosphere.
