Belfast (including Titanic Experience) Tour from Dublin

Improve your English while doing a different outdoor social activity!

Drive just two hours north of Dublin, you end up in another vibrant city. Belfast – a city that sits in what is politically another country. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, and so in two hours you can enter a different jurisdiction, so Pound Sterling is needed for spending money. This Belfast day trip from Dublin will allow you to see the great sights of Belfast and other significant gems of the North. Historical and natural treasures await you!

Our guides are knowledgeable and full of stories about Northern Ireland and its history. Therefore, you will learn about the history of rebellion, violence, and the journey towards peace in the region. Also, there are many more stories to tell about St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, great mountains and historical sites. If you’re lucky, they might even sing you a song.

First of all, visit East Belfast where we find the birthplace of the ill-fated RMS Titanic. Explore one of Ireland’s most visited attractions! Titanic Belfast extends over nine interactive galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features.

After the Titanic Museum we’ll have lunch, followed by a quick visit to the Republican museum. You’ll then be brought for an interesting political taxi tour of the Falls Road and Shankill Road. This was one of the most affected areas of Belfast during The Troubles, which led to the construction of the Peace Wall to divide Republicans and Unionists.

Take some free time to explore Belfast city centre and visit some of Belfast’s famous sites before returning to Dublin.

Finally, listen to some traditional Irish music as you relax on the coach after a full and exciting day – reminisce on your Belfast tour as we return to Dublin.

All adventures must come to an end, but take a look at our other day tours to continue your Irish adventures!
