Travelling in such periculous times is never easy, but when you have this kind of opportunity, you have to take it, because you might get only one in a lifetime. Being a Brazilian arriving in Dublin during the pandemic wasn’t the most peaceful thing to do, but I’m glad I did and even gladder that I chose ISI. When I was analysing the options, the first thing that caught my attention was the building itself, despite being old, the technology is impressive. Furthermore, the school has an excellent evaluation rate, being listed as one of the best English Schools in Dublin.
As I arrived in December of 2020, I never got to actually see the school in person and my classes are all online. At first that was a problem, I had connection issues and I was still getting used to the methodology used by the first teacher. I missed a few classes, and I was quite upset, but after a few weeks I was able to solve the problems, and everything began to go smoothly. After I shifted to the morning classes, the teacher saw my potential and put me through the level test, which led me to B2+, onwards to C1. That was a huge burst of incentive and now I finally feel that I’m being challenged and learning something new everyday .
Overall, I can see clearly that the ISI teachers and the whole staff are there to take care of us, and that, for me, is the most important thing a school can provide. I’m absolutely in love with the classes and the teachers, it’s a comfortable environment and I’m certain that once we go back to face to face classes, this feeling will only grow. I’m hoping to be able to spend more time studying with ISI and improving my English until I achieve the fluency level, which, considering what I’ve experienced so far, won’t take long.
This is so amazing, Danniel!!! Thank you so much for your lovely words and excellent job done here! This means everything to us! Our goal is to make sure we offer the best experience to each of our students. THANK YOU! We’re sure you’ll get to the level of English you desire.
