Bando LIMBAS 2026–2027: Study English in Dublin with official school documentation support

Next Bando LIMBAS application window: 16 September 2026 – 19 March 2027.
If you are preparing your application from Sardinia, ISI Dublin can help you prepare the official school documentation required for your English course in Dublin, including the Bando LIMBAS Allegato A, initial English level assessment documentation and an official course quotation.

Bando LIMBAS English courses in Dublin

Are you planning to apply for Bando LIMBAS funding to improve your English abroad? ISI Dublin offers intensive face-to-face English courses in Dublin and can provide official school documentation to support eligible applicants from Sardinia.

Bando LIMBAS is promoted by ASPAL – Agenzia Sarda per le Politiche Attive del Lavoro – and supports eligible young people from Sardinia who want to improve their language skills through a period of study abroad.

ISI Dublin does not manage, submit or approve Bando LIMBAS applications. The funding application remains the responsibility of the applicant and approval is decided exclusively by ASPAL. Our role is to help you prepare the school and course documentation required for your application.

Next Bando LIMBAS application window

According to the current official Bando LIMBAS notice, applications are organised through three application windows. The first window closed on 31 July 2026.

  • Finestra 2: 16 September 2026 – 19 March 2027
  • Finestra 3: 5 May 2027 – 31 December 2027

Applications are submitted through the official SUS – Sportello Unico dei Servizi platform. The current notice operates through a chronological application procedure and remains subject to available funding and any subsequent ASPAL provisions.

Planning to apply in September? We recommend requesting your course documentation from ISI Dublin before the application window opens, so that your placement test, course dates, quotation and Bando LIMBAS documents can be prepared in advance.

For the latest official rules and application information, please consult the official ASPAL Bando LIMBAS page.

Current Bando LIMBAS course requirements

Under the current Bando LIMBAS rules, an eligible language course abroad must meet specific requirements. These currently include:

  • The course must be delivered face-to-face.
  • The course must last a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks.
  • The programme must provide an intensive schedule of at least 25 lessons per week of 45/50 minutes หรือ 20 lessons per week of 60 minutes.
  • The language programme must be aligned with the CEFR / QCER.
  • The course must be aimed at progressing towards a recognised language certification at A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2 level.
  • The target certification level must be higher than the applicant’s documented initial English level.
  • The required language certification must be obtained within the timeframe established by the Bando, currently within a maximum of 6 months after completion of the language course.

Because the requirements depend on both the number and duration of lessons, we recommend confirming your selected ISI Dublin course with us before submitting your application.

Which ISI Dublin course is suitable for Bando LIMBAS?

For most Bando LIMBAS applicants, our recommended option is ภาษาอังกฤษเข้มข้น – 25 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์.

This programme combines General English with additional elective classes and provides an intensive weekly study schedule, making it the strongest ISI Dublin option when preparing documentation for the current Bando LIMBAS requirements.

ของเรา ภาษาอังกฤษแบบกึ่งเข้มข้น – 20 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์ course may also be suitable depending on the weekly lesson structure documented for your application. Our team can review this with you before preparing your official documents.

Please note: for Bando LIMBAS, the course duration should normally be selected within the official 3-to-6-week funding period.

Initial English level and placement test

The Bando LIMBAS application requires documentation confirming your initial English level. The expected level at the end of the proposed course must also be indicated in the official documentation.

ISI Dublin can arrange an English placement assessment before your course documentation is completed. This allows us to identify your current CEFR level and prepare the relevant course information for your Bando LIMBAS application.

Your initial level is particularly important because the certification you intend to obtain through the Bando must be at a higher level than your documented starting level.

Official documentation for your Bando LIMBAS application

For an application involving an English language course abroad, the current Bando requires specific documentation from the selected language school.

Depending on your individual application, ISI Dublin can support you with:

  • Bando LIMBAS Allegato A – Letter of Acceptance for the language course, completed and signed by an authorised ISI Dublin representative where the course requirements are satisfied.
  • Documentation confirming your initial English level assessment.
  • An official course estimate / quotation on ISI Dublin documentation.
  • Course start and end dates.
  • Total course duration.
  • Weekly course hours and total course hours.
  • Daily and weekly course schedule where required.
  • Tuition fee breakdown.
  • School accreditation and provider information required by the official form.
  • Course information aligned with the CEFR / QCER.
  • Accommodation quotation, if you choose to arrange accommodation through ISI Dublin.
  • Attendance documentation and course completion documentation after your programme, where applicable.

Important: the ISI Dublin course completion or attendance certificate is not a substitute for the external language certification required by Bando LIMBAS. The final certification must comply with the official ASPAL and Italian Ministry requirements applicable to your application.

Do not start your course before submitting your application

This is an important Bando LIMBAS rule: the current notice does not allow funding applications for a language course that has already started or already finished.

For this reason, please contact ISI Dublin first, select your proposed course dates and request your documentation before beginning the programme.

Who can apply for Bando LIMBAS?

Eligibility is determined exclusively by ASPAL. Under the current Bando, key eligibility conditions include being unemployed or meeting the official unemployment criteria, being resident in Sardinia for at least two years and being between 18 and 34 years and 364 days old when the application is submitted.

Additional conditions apply, including requirements relating to DID, registration and support through the relevant Centro per l’Impiego (CPI). Applicants should always check their personal eligibility directly against the current official Bando LIMBAS rules.

ที่พักในดับลิน

If you also need accommodation during your English course, ISI Dublin can help you arrange accommodation separately, subject to availability.

Options may include หอพักนักเรียน, ครอบครัวอุปถัมภ์, หอพัก หรือ โรงแรม, depending on your age, dates, availability and budget.
