Brian Burns
Brian joined ISI way back in 2001 as Marketing Director and became its Managing Director in 2006. Prior to joining ISI, Brian travelled the world teaching English in France, Quebec and Japan. As well as being a qualified English language teacher, Brian has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and French Literature from University College Galway (NUIG) and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Practice from University College Dublin (UCD). Outside ISI he has been involved in theatre, as an actor, a writer and a director. After nearly 25 years in the EFL business, Brian still loves the buzz and excitement of working at ISI with so many wonderful students, staff and teachers. Coco, his dog, loves ISI too, so much so, that she hangs out there every day!

James Dorrian
James joined ISI in 2007 as a Director. He is a graduate of the Institute of Technology Sligo and worked as a Surveyor in the construction and engineering industries for many years before becoming a partner in ISI. He has a keen interest in art and design, which is strongly reflected in the interior design of ISI’s buildings. He believes in creating a study environment which encourages students to be creative and to express themselves. James enjoys painting every week and has recently started to exhibit his work.

Jennifer Diaz Green
Jen Diaz Green has been involved in ELT education for over 25 years in both Argentina and Ireland. She has a Degree in English Language Teaching from Argentina and a Master’s Degree in Education from Trinity College Dublin. She’s been an EFL teacher, an Academic Manager, a Teacher Trainer and most recently School Director. She’s in charge of quality standards, operational effectiveness and leadership in the company. In 2025 she finished a Postgrad on Workplace Wellness.

Sarah McGovern
Sarah has been at ISI since 2016. Before that, she studied Applied Languages and Translation Studies in Dublin City University. She studied for a year at university in France and then spent a year teaching English at a high school there. The country of France will always have a special place in her heart, not just because of the food and wine! Sarah then moved to Vancouver in Canada, where she spent 2 years working and exploring. Travel is a big part of Sarah’s life, and she counts herself very lucky to have done a lot of travelling throughout Europe, Asia and north America. Sarah is married to Jay and has a little girl who enjoys getting up to all sorts of mischief and keeping her parents busy! Her favourite part of the job is meeting new people and embracing new cultures.

Michelle Barry Cashman
Michelle joined ISI in 2021 as a High School Coordinator, her background is in people management, training, coaching and mentoring. She is married to Robert, has two teenage daughters Eliza and Florence plus “Sid “the dog. She has worked in various roles over the years and in 2012 set up a community-based resource centre for parents and children, it was hugely successful until it became a casualty of covid in 2020.She has travelled extensively and understands the challenges facing young students when they arrive into a new country for the first time, having left home to work abroad at an early age. Her aim is to ensure that ISI students have the best all round experience during their time in Ireland.

Katherine Castillo
Born in El Salvador, Katherine started her journey at ISI Dublin as a student back in 2022. The school has been part of her growth since she arrived in Dublin, receiving the necessary advice from the teachers and staff, she has now joined the ISI Dublin family, helping new students find accommodation by making them feel warm and safe as she felt with ISI from her first day. She has a degree in Foreign Affairs, Katherine enjoys traveling, getting to know new cultures, and having fun.

Adriane Laurindo
Adriane was born in Brazil, and in 2019, she came to Ireland to study English for three weeks as a student at ISI Dublin. She genuinely fell in love with the country, that she returned in 2022 to make Ireland her new home. With a background in administration and prior experience in the financial sector in Brazil, she now works at ISI as an accommodation administrator. Adriane thoroughly enjoys assisting new exchange students in realizing their dreams, much like she did.

Renata Oliveira Souza
Renata has a bachelor’s degrees in law and international trade from Brazil, along with over 10 years of experience in roles such as executive secretary, operations, and customer service. She’s worked in administrative management, executive support, scheduling, contract handling, and logistics — in both public and private sectors. She’s currently studying Data Analytics at CCT College, preparing for a new chapter in her career focused on the tech industry — combining my organizational experience with strategic data analysis..

Nayara Meireles
Nayara is originally from Brazil and currently lives in Dublin. She holds a degree in Law and worked for five years at the São Paulo Court of Justice. Her passion for discovering the world, learning about different cultures, and embracing new challenges led her to live abroad. As Admissions Manager at ISI English School, Nayara supports students throughout the application process and helps ensure a smooth and welcoming start to their journey. She is committed to making each student feel supported and confident as they begin their experience abroad.

Maija Goba
Since 2006 Maija has been part of the ISI Dublin team, but it was in 2015 when the ISI Cafes first opened, that Maija became a Cafe and Facility manager. Born in Latvia and a graduate from the College of Commercial Merchandise, she also speaks three languages – Latvian, Russian and English. It was back in 2002 when Maija left Latvia to visit Dublin, Ireland – a country over 2000km away! Since then, Maija has fallen in love with the city and its people. The best thing about being part of the ISI team is being part of a friendly and supportive team and she loves meeting people from all over the world.

Anita topa
From Naples in Italy, Anita has lived in Dublin since 2006. With a 5-year Italian Diploma in languages, Anita’s dream is to learn to speak at least 5 languages fluently. So far, she is over half way there – Italian, English and Spanish! An outgoing person, she is always ready to help when possible. In her free time, Anita likes to train, spend time with her dog and friends, go to the seaside and travel. Anita comes from a background in hospitality and loves to be in contact with people and is part of the reception team at ISI Dublin.

Alejandro Lemus
Alejandro joined ISI in 2022 as IT Support Assistant. Alejandro worked as a Developer in El Salvador for 3 years. Working in the Health industry developing systems. He is a Computer Science Engineer with a Diploma in CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate). He is doing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at NCI. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and English. He likes learning and challenging things on his life. In his free time, he loves gathering with family and friends and cooking international dishes.

Antonio
Tony joined ISI Dublin in February 2025 as an Activity Leader and is now part of the Social Program & Social Media team. In this role, he contributes to the development of cultural and social experiences for students, while also managing digital content creation that showcases the academic and community life at ISI. With a background in photography and content production, Tony combines creativity and professionalism to strengthen ISI’s presence and enhance the student experience in Dublin. He is recognised for his approachable manner, respect, and strong commitment to student wellbeing and integration.
