Meet Mariana

I have been living in Ireland for over a year and I remember in my first week here my teacher came to talk to me to see if everything was fine, not only in relation to the course but also how I was in relation to all the changes that I was going through in my life and during COVID time I received several emails from school asking how I was going and offering support in case I needed it. This is one of the things I like about school, they really care about the students.

Another thing I really like at school is the events after class like game night, history class where we can practise speaking, improve our English in a different way and make new friends.

Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to enjoy the school’s facilities because of COVID but I am really happy with the way the school and the teachers are able to handle online classes. I know that studying and teaching online is not easy, however the teachers managed this situation very well, they do their best to teach in the easiest and clearest way and I can see improvements in my English and I am very proud of it.
