Jennifer Diaz Green
Jennifer Diaz Green has been involved in ELT education for over 20 years in Argentina and Ireland. She studied a Degree in English Language Teaching in Argentina and Master’s in Education in Trinity College Dublin. Since being a participant in the original Academic Management Course by ACELS over 10 years ago, she’s been involved in Academic Management. Her experience is mainly in ELT Human Resources, teacher workshops, curricula and material development and compliance.
Clodagh started as a teacher in ISI almost 7 years ago. She has a keen interest in languages, having graduated from the University of Limerick with a degree in Applied Languages. During her course, she spent one semester teaching English in Spain and one semester studying French in Paris. She loves to travel and lived in Australia for 2 years, giving her the opportunity to visit many new countries along the way. She believes the best thing about working in ISI is the great team and also getting to meet people from all over the world.
Tanya Farrelly is an award-winning author, EFL teacher and creative writing facilitator. With more than a decade of teaching experience, she divides her time between writing and educating. She has worked with ISI since 2007 teaching general English, business English and Cambridge exam classes. She holds a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from Bangor University, Wales. She also teaches the ukulele!
Úna is an eminently qualified English language teacher with over 16 years of experience working in ISI Dublin and Italy. She has a degree in Irish studies and an ACELS CELT certificate in teaching English. Úna has been awarded the Fáilte Ireland National Tour Guide badge, is an accomplished fencer and coach who competes nationally and internationally. She has lived and worked in seven countries and has a very high degree of intercultural sensitivity.
Emily has been a proud member of the ISI teaching team for over seven years. Originally from the United States, Emily’s love of the English language led her to pursue a postgraduate degree in English literature from Trinity College, Dublin. Upon completing her master’s degree, Emily obtained her CELTA teaching qualification and went on to teach all levels of English, specializing in exam skills, writing skills, and pronunciation. In 2019, Emily completed Cambridge University’s DELTA Module One, an expert qualification in theories of English language teaching.
Roberta graduated in modern languages in 2006 and obtained her CELTA in 2012. She’s been teaching English in ISI for almost 4 years now. In 2009 she got a post-grad in teaching Italian.
Aisling has been teaching English and Drama for over 30 years. She is a qualified teacher (Trinity College Dublin) as well as being a drama teacher (London College of Music and Drama) – she also has a Masters degree in Psychology (Bangor University, Wales). She has lived in Europe and the USA and brings an understanding of language and learning differences to her classes.
David has worked in ISI for ten years. He has a degree in History and Geography, a Masters in Environmental Planning and and a CELTA course to teach English. His favourite part of the working week is teaching about Irish history, culture and society in the History club in the school. He has lived in France and Argentina and in his free time loves running, watching movies and travelling.
Nat has been in TEFL since 2006 when she graduated in English Philology, BA and obtained her first teaching qualification, followed by CELTA, DipTESOL training and NILE’s (MA) dip in Teacher Training. She’s been teaching and travelling forever, combining her two passions – learning/teaching languages and exploring new cultures. She specialises in certificate courses (IELTS, Cambridge, TKTs) as well as Academic English, ESP and overall development of all English language skills in higher-level students through high-quality language lab sessions tailored to her students’ individual needs.
Mariel is an English Language Teacher and a Sworn Translator (Honours Bachelor Degree). She has also studied Law and is passionate about languages, cultures, travelling and Art. She loves Dublin, and she has also lived and worked in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. As a teacher with 32 years of teaching experience, she believes that success is created by engaging students on a pathway to a process of lifelong learning.
Conor has worked at ISI for over 6 years. After completing a Master’s in Communication with Design, he obtained a CELTA qualification to teach English. Conor has experience teaching at all levels and specialises in Cambridge Exam preparation classes. Conor’s exam techniques have been proven to be very effective and yielded strong marks for his students. Apart from teaching, Conor has produced projects for BBC, Sky, and RTE. He also works with several companies on their graphic design.
Angela has a degree in modern languages from University College Dublin and a CELT qualification in English language teaching. She has been working in the area of education for many years, has experience teaching both children and adults. Angela has worked in both Europe and the USA and has been teaching English in ISI since 2015.
Having completed my degree in Electronic Engineering and master’s in Music & Media Technologies, I decided to begin teaching English in 2006 before moving to Germany for 4 years. On my return to Ireland I continued to teach at various schools around Dublin, while also doing postgraduate research in the digital signal processing of speech in Trinity College. I have been teaching at ISI for over 4 years now, and enjoy the challenges and variety that it provides.
Florencia has been working as an English and Spanish teacher in Argentina and Ireland for over 10 years. She holds a Degree in English Language Teaching from Argentina and a Master’s in Intercultural Education from Trinity College Dublin. Florencia obtained her Cambridge TKT certificate in 2013 and a CELT qualification in 2016. Apart from working with ISI she has been teaching Spanish in Portmarnock Community School within their Adult Education Programme as well as in Dublin City University. In her free time, Florencia loves learning other languages (Portuguese and Italian), cooking and travelling. She believes that learning a new language is learning to have a different vision of life.
Eamon has worked in ISI for over seven years. He holds a degree in English and Philosophy and two master’s, in Anglo-Irish Literature and Creative Writing. He has previously lived in Australia and Spain. He has completed a collection of poetry and is now working towards a collection of short stories.
Claire has been in the teaching profession for almost 15 years, having taught journalism and media skills at third level for a number of years and continued on to teach English language. She holds an MA in Television and Radio Production from NUI Maynooth, as well as a CELTA. Her passion and enthusiasm for teaching ensures that she consistently works to a high standard and encourages her students to also do so, at every level. Claire holds an Advanced qualification in Mindfulness Practices, which has also greatly influenced her teaching style.
Andrea has been teaching English for over 10 years. She has also taught English and Business Studies in Germany, and evening classes in German here in Ireland. Andrea holds an MA Degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Nottingham. She is a passionate language learner, loves to travel, and has always enjoyed meeting people from different countries and cultures. When she is not in the classroom, Andrea can be found reading a book, or taking a walk in Ireland’s stunning nature.
Eamon who is a Trinity College Dublin Business graduate has been teaching at ISI since 2006. After ten years working in the financial markets in New York City he started teaching English and Business. He has extensive experience teaching all levels of English and has successfully prepared many students for exams including the Cambridge FCE,CAE,CPE and IELTS. Eamon believes that the best thing about ISI are the genuinely talented and dedicated staff who work here and of course our students.
Deniz has been teaching French and Turkish to all levels. She has a Degree and a Master’s in French Language Teaching. She has also received other trainings about modern French Teaching in France. With 9 years’ experience as a French teacher, she is adept in classroom instruction, development of instruction plans, preparation exams for all levels of learners and teacher-student relation. During her graduate studies, she researched foreign language teaching methods in depth. She always prefers using the material prepared with communicative teaching approach during her classes and prepare various materials appropriate to this approach. Deniz is also a qualified DELF A1-A2 examiner. She loves teaching and cannot think of a life without students.
Ronan has a BA (Economics and Legal Science) and an LL.B from NUI Galway. He obtained his CELT in 2007 and has been teaching English since then. He started in ISI in 2011.
Nicole, who has been in the education sector for six years, started working at ISI in 2015. After graduating in Creative Digital Media, she obtained a CELTA qualification to begin teaching English. She has extensive experience teaching all levels and instructing in Academic English, English for General Purposes and Business English in Ireland, Portugal and China. Having travelled five continents, she understands the necessity of language-learning.
Kyle has been working at ISI for 6 years, he is a dedicated and passionate teacher. He did an Arts degree in NUIG focusing on Economics and Social and Political Science. Upon graduating he completed a HDP in Business studies. He then moved to Dublin to pursue his career in English language teaching where he did a CELTA course. He loves sports and has played rugby all his life. His other interests include literature and the culinary Arts.
Larissa has been working as a language teacher for fifteen years. Having taught English at language schools and universities in Germany, she later began teaching German at third level and Portuguese at language schools. She holds a degree in Art History and Architectural History as well as a master’s in Art History and History from Heidelberg University. Larissa is a qualified teacher who has experience teaching general, business and technical language classes as well as art history and culture. Larissa loves teaching and inspiring students. Having lived in different countries, she has developed an open-minded attitude towards people from different cultures. Larissa speaks four languages and is highly enthusiastic about learning new languages and visiting art galleries and museums.
Angela is a PhD graduate from University College Dublin. She has always combined her interest in academic research with her passion for teaching and learning languages. She has been working as an Italian and English teacher for many years in different countries and has lived in Italy, Syria, Lebanon, France and Ireland.
