Accomodations for students in Dublin

For students seeking a more independent life in Dublin, our ensuite self-catering student residence is located close to city and just 15-20 minutes’ walk from our centres, are a great choice. Reserved for students aged 18+, the residence offers deluxe, high quality, single room with ensuite bathrooms and a shared kitchen and living space.

Booking a student residence must be made in advance.

Location

Our main residence is located just 20 minutes’ walk from the school in the bustling Stoneybatter neighbourhood. With its village-like feel, it is full of independent cafes, craft beer bars and cozy restaurants and it is also home to Technological University Dublin. The area attracts a mix of artists, students, young professionals and long-time locals. Its colourful streets and community vibe give it a unique charm. Nearby Smithfield, with its vast square and industrial architecture, blends old Dublin character with contemporary urban living. The area is home to many cultural institutions, including The Lighthouse art house cinema, The Cobblestone traditional Irish music pub and the world-renowned Jameson Distillery. Smithfield was voted 2nd coolest neighbourhood in the world by Time Out magazine in 2023.

Occasionally we use residences of similar design and quality in other neighbourhoods. This will be advised at the time of booking.

ISI Residence Support Service

We offer a full support service to all students in residence accommodation. Students should contact reception at ISI’s centres if they experience any issues or problems with their accommodation.

Deposit

On their first day at school, each student must pay a refundable damage deposit. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking but it is between €200 and €300 depending on the room type. The deposit is refunded after check out, once the room has been inspected and there is no damage.
