I’ve always been someone who valued the comfort zone. Back in Brazil, I had a stable and comfortable life. I spent seven years in the banking sector, building a solid career. I had a good job, financial security, and recognition, but deep down, there was a restless desire: the dream of challenging myself, living abroad, and seeing the world.
For many years, I pushed that dream aside. I was very attached to my family and friends and couldn’t imagine living far from them. The thought of leaving everything behind and starting over seemed impossible. However, my desire for personal growth and to learn something new eventually became stronger.
When I finally decided to take that step, I knew I had to prepare well. It’s a process that requires careful thought, and choosing the right English school is a crucial part of it. I wanted a school that would not only help me learn the language but also offer a rich experience. That’s when I discovered ISI Dublin. I did extensive research, compared schools, and spoke to people. The school’s reputation, teaching approach, and quality of education were decisive factors. I wanted a school that would provide a solid foundation for real learning, and now I’m certain ISI Dublin was the best choice.
With a lot of courage, I left my job, said goodbye to my comfort zone, and set off for Ireland. At first, adapting was challenging. I arrived with basic English, and I still remember how difficult it was just to order a coffee. But as the classes progressed, I started feeling more comfortable. Thanks to my determination and the incredible support from ISI’s teachers, my progress was swift. Today, after 11 months, I can communicate confidently.
This decision has transformed my life. Every day here brings a new discovery of places, people, cultures, and most importantly, myself. I’m certain it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m happy, more confident, and ready to keep exploring everything the world has to offer.
If you’re considering taking this step, I say: have courage. Like anything in life, the process requires effort, but the rewards go far beyond what you can imagine.
